If you want to have sound through stereo and control the TV, and DVD player, use this Onkyo remote control. This remote control uses IR (infrared light) to communicate with TV so you need to point the remote at the TV. Turn on the Receiver and

In the middle of the remote, there is a TV section. You can use this section to control the TV Input source, volume, channel if you want to watch other programs from the TV menu. If you click on the Input button and the TV menu does not go away, press the ENTER key while pointing the remote on right side of TV.

On the Samsung TV remote above, you can switch TV input sources using the Source button. Then navigate (using the arrow buttons) to the apps you want to use for entertainment. We have set up Fubo for live sport and shows as well as some movies. You have DVD, Cable/SAT, TV source (if you want to use apps on the TV). The default is to have TV apps output sound to stereo system. You can listen to AM or FM radio if needed.
To exit the app you chose, use the Return button.

When you press the Source button on the TV remote, you can navigate to the application bar in order to select Fubo, Netflix, or Amazon Video etc.
